If you are pregnant or a new mom, you can receive helpful text messages on your cell phone. This information will help you care for your health and give your baby the best possible start in life. These messages include:
- How to have a healthy pregnancy; and
- Tips on child safety, growth and development.
Text4baby is free mobile information service to promote maternal and child health. It is offered to you at no cost from Medica through a partnership with the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition.
You may sign up for the services by texting BABY to 511411 or BEBE in Spanish . You will receive free SMS Short Message Service text messages each week, timed to your due date or baby’s date of birth. You will not be charged for the text messages you receive through text4baby.
