What is the relationship between MCHA and Medica?

Medica is the writing carrier (administrator) for MCHA. The current writing carrier contract runs from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013. Medica is a Minnesota based health plan that provides access to a statewide provider network and services. Medica is responsible for administrative services, customer service and care management. Medica serves over one million members.
