Pharmacy Benefit Coverage

Dear Member:

If you have pharmacy benefit coverage through Medica, your prescriptions are processed by MedImpact, Medica’s pharmacy vendor. If you need to fill prescriptions before you receive your ID card, please print this page and present it to your pharmacy along with your temporary Medica ID card (which can be printed from mymedica.com under Manage My Account).

Note: You’ll need your medical plan information (subscriber and group/policy number) and your pharmacy plan information (Rx BIN and Rx PCN numbers) to get your prescription filled.

How do you know if you have pharmacy benefit coverage through Medica?
  • If the Pharmacies and Prescriptions tab appears on mymedica.com, select it and it will indicate your pharmacy vendor. If it doesn’t appear, you don’t have pharmacy coverage through Medica.
  • Call Medica Customer Service at 1-800-952-3455
  • Ask your Human Resources Department or Benefits Administrator (your employer)

Our Medica member has not yet received or has lost their Member ID card that provides their Medica Pharmacy Benefit information.
