About Fit Choices by MedicaA commitment to fitness pays off when physical activity is regular and sustained over time. To provide an extra incentive to work out regularly, the Fit Choices by Medica program provides a $20 credit toward your monthly dues when you work out at least eight days per month at any participating fitness center.
To get started, simply present your Medica ID card when you enroll at a participating fitness center. You are responsible for paying any enrollment fees and your monthly membership fee. However, most participating clubs offer Fit Choices by Medica members a healthy discount on enrollment fees, too. Then just work out at least eights days a month to earn your $20 credit.

The Travel Program is especially valuable if you are traveling or if you have children attending school in U.S. states outside the Medica coverage area Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and western Wisconsin. It provides in-network coverage for many types of medical care — including for chronic conditions, urgent care and emergency care needs — when care is received from a provider in the UnitedHealthcare Options PPO network. This is one of the nation's largest networks. It includes nearly 500,000 physicians and 4,600 hospitals.
Please Note: Some services — including chiropractic, mental health/substance abuse, and transplants — are not part of the Travel Program. Your out of network/emergency benefit will apply for these services. To find a provider within the Travel Program network, choose the Travel Program link above to search the network.
The Travel Program works just like obtaining care in Medica's service area. Members visit a participating provider and present their member identification card at the point of service. Standard copayments or coinsurance will apply. There is no additional paperwork.
