Where do I find out how this will be covered with my benefit plan?

  • You will find your X-ray and Imaging service benefit under the Professional/Physician Services section of your benefit document. It will be paid under the outpatient x-ray and imaging services benefit. The benefits may be listed under Enhanced Radiology as well.


Things to remember

  • These benefits are for standard MRI’s. If you are having a specialized MRI, please contact Customer Service at the number on the back of your ID card for benefit information.
  • Your provider may need to call for a consultation with Medica before the services will be covered.
